VT Group has performed engineering design, installation and integration for the upgrade and modernization of many of the C4I systems and equipment in use by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). Successful partnerships with the Coast Guard have resulted in innovative approaches to communications center upgrades for CONUS Coast Guard groups, as well as efficient consolidation and remoting of U.S. Coast Guard Communications Stations to Communications Area Master Stations Atlantic and Pacific.

In addition to the communications and engineering work, VT is an on-site partner with the USCG Integrated Support Command Kodiak. Located in Kodiak Island, Alaska, Team Kodiak, as it is known, is home to 12 USCG units, and supports three long range navigation (LORAN) stations. VT provides the USCG with full-range facilities operations and maintenance (O&M) that keeps operations and life on the base running smoothly down to the smallest detail.
