VT Group provides asset availability, fleet management, capability and training to world class standards. Our experience and reputation for strong contract performance and near-instant responsiveness make VT the natural partner of choice for support of mission critical assets.

While many other government contractors provide support, VT Group understands that it is the understanding of and urgent response to customer demands that makes us special. We are at our best in long-term partnerships with our customers based on a level of trust and respect that they cannot get from just any contractor. When we give our word, we mean it.

VT not only maintains and repairs the UK Army Construction vehicles, but takes on an ownership role replacing vehicles whenever necessary. Through modern vehicle replacements, VT has purchased over 1,700 new assets to keep the UK Army Construction fleet in top form to tackle anything that may come their way.

Our Award Winning Expertise

Through a joint venture – ALC – with Amey plc, VT Group delivers the 16-year Private Finance Initiative (PFI) C vehicles capability contract. Voted the top performing PFI contract 2006/07, the contract deploys 2,200 engineering support vehicles around the world on behalf of the Royal Engineers and Royal Logistics Corps. In addition to vehicle availability, the contract covers asset replacement and disposal, and touches on most of the areas of the concept, assessment, development, manufacturing, in-service disposal (CADMID) procurement policy in the UK.

In partnership with Lex Vehicle Leasing, we deliver the White-Fleet contract providing a range of over 14,000 vehicles to the Ministry of Defense (MoD). A further 400 White and Green vehicles are managed and maintained in a 10-year contract as sub contractor to Aspire Defence on the Allenby Connaught PFI.

In 2008, VT won the TMASS contract to manage and operate The Armour Centre in Bovington Dorset – providing training, maintenance and support services for the Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AFV) Driving and Maintenance School, AFV Communication and Information Systems School and the AFV Gunnery School.

VT works in partnership with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), managing and delivering a comprehensive range of courses and qualifications in the UK and Overseas that are recognized as best in class. Supporting the front line, we deliver training in partnership with a range of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the defense industry. More than 8,000 students benefit from training delivered by VT Group each year.
