VT Group partners closely with our customers to provide any and all of the services that support city-sized bases and campuses. If a civilian city or its residents needs a particular service from their community, it is very likely that we are delivering that service on behalf of our customers. We employ and deploy the full range of skill sets, from general labor to highly specialized and licensed trades and engineers.

Utilities

VT Group regularly assumes responsibility for delivery of electricity, natural gas and water as well as for provision of sewage systems, water treatment and trash collection. We service and maintain dynamic equipment – pumps, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), electric generation, transformers and distribution equipment. In a word, we have the capability to operate the entire utilities infrastructure.

Supply Chain & Material Handling

VT Group also provides purchasing services for commodity goods such as fuels and paper goods, office supplies and more. Plus, we manage the warehouses, vehicles and material handling equipment required to receive, store and deliver goods throughout the bases we serve.

Transportation Services & Support

Our base operations team often supports base roads and highway systems, from paving, maintenance and snow removal to traffic control systems. We manage and maintain fleets of trucks and automobiles, and even heavy transportation equipment such as railroad tracks, locomotives and rolling stock.

Facilities Management

We provide top to bottom, inside and outdoor maintenance of base facilities – custodial services, repair and renovation or alteration of family housing and large buildings and grounds maintenance.

Port & Air Operations

While military personnel manage the ships and aircraft on military bases, VT Group often provides non-military operations capabilities such as maintenance of structures and energy systems.
