Our containers are approved per U.S. Department of Transportation standards – functional, modular, heavy duty, climate controlled as necessary and configured to our customers’ exacting standards.
Global Reach, One Phone Call Away
For example, when the USS Hartford (SSN-768) collided with the USS New Orleans (LPD 18) in the Strait of Hormuz, the Navy needed temporary antenna and communications systems to enable surface transit across the Atlantic Ocean for permanent repairs. The Navy called on VT Group to design, fabricate and deliver a temporary system for secure communications. VT Group worked closely with SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic to provide a tested system within five days.
