Military Flight/Pilot Training

VT Group has over 70 years’ experience of delivering flying training, aircraft provision and through-life support to military forces including many of the best flight crews in the world. The training they receive is vital for the ongoing success of missions that range from protecting ground operations to transporting humanitarian aid, improving search and rescue services along the coastline and everything in between.

Though VT Group has the global reach of a world-leading training organization, all of our customer-facing operations focus on delivering the responsiveness, flexibility and service of a local company. For training support services, our experience and value are unmatched. In partnership with the Royal Air Force, VT Group provides light aircraft flight training, guaranteeing aircraft availability for 50,000 flying hours per year; 99 Grob Aircraft on 12 bases, all owned, maintained and guaranteed by VT; and all with turnkey service and an arrangement to provide the training at the cost of 35,000 hours of flight training.

In addition to light aircraft training, through the Total Tucano Support Program VT Group provides the Royal Air Force with basic fast jet training, guaranteeing 13,000 flying hours per year on customer-owned assets.

We provide the skilled professionals who ensure both the availability of assets and support infrastructure, and the safety of personnel. Our integrated approach allows us to ensure all aspects of the training are hitting on all cylinders, leaving the flight crews to focus on nothing more than the task at hand.
