Our respect for the environment guides our business development. Minimizing our environmental impacts and managing our energy, water and water utilization is a priority. We continue to implement environmental management systems aligned to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:2008, to help us deliver continuous improvement in environmental performance.

To achieve this:

• We are improving understanding of the issues across the group, delivering environmental briefings to the VT board and our executive management, and at our management conferences
• We make sure that health, safety and environmental issues are considered within our project life cycle framework, via mandatory gateway reviews of new products and services
• We are formalizing our environmental strategy and communicating this throughout our business and supply chain

Our Approach

Our approach to managing our environmental impacts is set out in our requirements and expectations document. Accountability for environmental performance rests with the chief executive and at the highest levels throughout the business. Throughout our U.S. operations, we are committed to continuous improvement of our recycling, property management and other facets of environmental protection.
