Award-winning Army Oil Analysis Laboratory Operations Worldwide

 

VT Group manages and operates eight Army Oil Analysis laboratories in the U.S. and five laboratories overseas.  Our staff are hands on in setting up, operating, training and maintaining fixed and mobile laboratories worldwide. 

 

  • Our certified personnel provide Army Oil Analysis support to: U.S. Army, Army Reserves, Army National Guard and other Department of Defense customers as designated by the Army Oil Analysis Program Management Office, U.S, Army Materiel Command (USAMC) Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA).

     

  • We analyze approximately 325,000 samples per year from critical weapon aviation and tactical vehicles.


  • Our staff operate and maintain state-of-the-art analytical test instruments, such as Spectrometer, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Titrator, LaserNet Fines and High Speed Viscometer.


  • Our AOAP certified evaluators provide evaluations and reports regarding the oil analysis results in conjunction with the factors listed in technical references.  All sample results and evaluations are logged into the AOAP software system (OASIS) and prompt notification is provided to the customer within 30 minutes of abnormal sample analysis and evaluation that indicate a possible impending failure. 

 

 

On February 4, 2010, VT Group received the Army Aviation Association of America (Quad-A), the Army Materiel Readiness Award in special recognition of our significant contributions to the Materiel Readiness (Logistics Support) of U.S Army Aviation.
