WICC Reaches One-Year Without Lost-Time Accident Milestone 

On July 21, the Wallops Island (WICC) site of VT Group reached 365 days without a lost-time accident.  

 

We would like to express our appreciation and congratulate the VT Group Wallops Island team. This major accomplishment can be attributed to the competence, skills and active role taken on by the site's employees and staff. A number of actions have focused on the facilities and the employees with the aims of increasing safety awareness and making safe behavior a way of life at the site.

There is a direct relationship between a safe workplace and a successful company. It is vital that we continue this focus and achieve our goal of "Home Safe Every Day." 

We are proud of the contributions that our 223 employees at Wallops Island are making toward the advancement of VT's Health and Safety program. Congratulations to all Wallops Island personnel, we look forward to your continued success!
